Mrs. Rossing's, Mrs. Connor's, and Mrs. Lennon's students have been doing an author/illustrator study on Wisconsin author Lois Ehlert. Ehlert says the hardest part of writing for her is deciding what to write about, and she often gets ideas from "right under her nose."
After listening to the story Nuts to You, students imagined coming home from school to find a wild animal in their house. They wrote and illustrated how they would get the animal out. Students used ChatterPix Kids on their iPads to animate their illustrations and turn them into Quick Time videos.
Students who created videos and emailed them to Mrs. McMahon are included in the videos.
